It was a great place to have a long family gathering. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows and the kitchen was top notch. The rain/mist did stop at times so we could use the grill both our first and last days there and of course we had to take a dip in the hot tub. That place was a life saver with the weather we had while we were down. But despite the rain, we had a wonderful time! The screened in back porch is where the adults spent most of their time with the kids enjoying the kid room. It ended up raining the entire time we were there because of some rare tropical system that moved into Texas dumping over 6 inches of rain. We planned this trip back in February thinking that September would be a great time to enjoy the Texas weather but not be too hot.
